- Accuse early for glory: crack it on Exhibit I for 5 pts, on Exhibit V for 1.
- You get ONE accusation. Choose with care — the seal is final.
- Solve daily to keep your streak burning.

Death on the SS Memphis
At dawn the steamer's bell found no ringer. Irene Adler, celebrated opera singer travelling under a borrowed name, lies in the chart room — a single glass of sherry beside her, untouched. She was due to give sworn testimony in Cairo that would sink somebody aboard. Four passengers had reason to see her silenced before the SS Memphis made port.
Arsène Lupin
Gentleman thief, travelling openly for once. Admired Adler's emeralds across three capitals but insists admiration is not appetite.
Insp. Lestrade
Scotland Yard, 'off duty, allegedly.' Followed Lupin aboard at the last minute and has been watching everyone since.
Dr. Calloway
Ship's surgeon, meticulous to a fault. Keeps his dispensary inventory in his own hand and his opinions to himself.
Mme. Verlaine
Antiquities dealer shipping a crate of 'reproductions' to Cairo. Charming, unhurried, and very particular about her sherry.
